It’s six months since we submitted our last 2023 FY BAS and where has the time gone?! We’ve had lots of really cool things happening with a focus of business growth, connection and rejuvenation. After two decades with our trusty old emblem, we’re excited to unveil our brand-new logo! You’ll notice it’s a tree shaped like a woman – pretty cool, right? This symbol isn’t just about looking fresh; it’s all about what we stand for. Our values – generosity, trust, empathy, respect, and resilience – are right there in the design. The woman’s figure represents the caring, understanding approach we bring to your finances. And those branches and leaves? They’re a nod to the many ways we help you grow and thrive financially. So why the change after all these years? Well, we’re all about keeping things fresh and adapting to better serve you. Here’s to the next chapter of eradicating financial stress together!
Business development
Even after two decades in the game, we’re still all about learning and growing. So, here’s the scoop on what’s been happening with us lately: We’ve jumped onboard with EO Queensland. EO is this awesome group of entrepreneurs who are all about pushing boundaries and leveling up in business and life. And that’s not all the news – we’ve also teamed up with a super cool business coaching firm that’s all about helping businesses like ours grow and thrive. They’re like our secret weapons for unlocking new levels of success! So, why all the changes? Well, we’re always looking for ways to serve you better, to keep improving, and to keep kicking financial stress to the curb. Stick around because we’re just getting started on this epic journey, and we’re so pumped to have them along for the ride!
Video marketing
You may have seen my face and heard my voice a little more in your socials. That’s because we’ve had a couple of incredible sessions with a top-notch video marketing company right here in Brisbane. Together, we’ve produced over 80 videos aimed at educating and engaging our audience on the topics we’re most passionate about: cash, profit, and growth. Our aim is clear: to provide valuable insights and empower our audience with knowledge that can truly make a difference in their financial journey. It’s been an exhilarating process, and we’re beyond excited to see these videos circulating, and we’re thrilled to share them with you!
Our first retreat
October was a month to remember for our team as we embarked on our very first company retreat right here in sunny Queensland. Picture this: the entire team coming together for a few glorious days of bonding, laughter, and connection. As a remote team, we understand the importance of nurturing relationships beyond the virtual realm, and this retreat was all about strengthening those bonds. From heartfelt conversations to shared meals paired with fine wine, and even immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature, every moment was an opportunity to deepen our connections and foster a sense of belonging. Together, we laughed, we explored, and most importantly, we created memories that will last a lifetime. Because at the end of the day, it’s those moments of genuine connection that truly fuel our team spirit and drive our collective success. Here’s to many more retreats filled with laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments!

As we wrap up this whirlwind of updates, let’s take a moment to celebrate some well-deserved holiday adventures from our team members! I kicked off the fun with an epic fortnight exploring the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand’s South Island, and more recently, a fun filled cruise through the stunning South Pacific. Meanwhile, Surya indulged in a month-long family reunion in Zimbabwe, soaking in the rich culture and cherished moments with loved ones. And not to be outdone, Kelly took full advantage of her time off by embarking on a month-long exploration of her beautiful home state of Tasmania, uncovering hidden gems and embracing the natural wonders right in her backyard.
And the adventures continue! Naomi is gearing up for an exhilarating hiking escapade around the magnificent Tongariro National Park in New Zealand, surrounded by awe-inspiring landscapes and volcanic wonders. Meanwhile, Lauren is getting ready to immerse herself in the vibrant culture and rich traditions of Japan, where every corner holds a new discovery and adventure. We can’t wait to hear all about their unforgettable experiences and see the world through their lens as they capture the beauty and magic of their journeys. Here’s to safe travels, unforgettable moments, and a treasure trove of holiday snaps awaiting us upon their return!
But don’t worry, we’ve established streamlined systems and fostered a collaborative culture that ensures seamless transitions when team members go on holiday.
